Delivery service and Shipping
Shipping is only available for the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, and its adjacent rural and countryside areas.
Please read the following shipping terms carefully before using Our Service.

Welcome to our Terms and Conditions! These boxes aren’t legally binding, you can use them as an aid for understanding the legal language.
Article 1: Reach
The service from Shungo Foods is meant to reach out up to 10 minutes in motorcycle going out of Cuenca, or so. As you know, fully mapping out every specific point or line for this would require even more time and resources. So, please understand that when you're at some location with a very close call on which side of the arbitrary limit you are, this is for the purposes of knowing whether you qualify for a lower shipping rate or not, we hold the final assessment and decision on this, always basing our rates on the final rates of the delivery service to us.
Also, when an order is simply too difficult or the distance is beyond the 10 or 15-minute ride going out of Cuenca (around 15 Km away from the Centro area), then we are in our full right to deny service with the simple notice of courtesy mentioning that they are out of range for our service.
Free Shipping
Free shipping can be available if the order meets the prerequisites to qualify for that type of shipping.
For the time being free shipping is only available within 4 Km of the city Centro. the rest of the distances will have to pay the specific fare for the distance, according to the delivery person's calculation.
Article 2: Placing Order
By placing an Order for Products through the Service, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Article 3: Price
The prices are indicated in dollars, excluding the shipping and processing of your order. The price of items can be changed at any time. However, the price applied to an order will be the one stated at the time of the order.
Article 4: Your information
If You wish to place an Order for Products available on the Service, you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your Order including, without limitation, your name, your email, your phone number, your credit card number, the expiration date of your credit card, your billing address, and your shipping information.
You represent and warrant that: (i) You have the legal right to use any credit or debit card(s) or any other payment method(s) in connection with any Order; and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.
By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to payment processing third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of your order.
Article 5: Payment
Payment is due immediately on the date of the order, this includes pre-order products.
Payment can be made through any of the payment methods we have available, such as Visa, MasterCard, Affinity Card, American Express cards or online payment methods (PayPal, for example).
Payment cards (credit cards or debit cards) are subject to validation checks and authorization by your card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order.
Article 6: Delivery
Delivery is made to the address you specified when placing your order (therefore, pay particular attention to the spelling of the address you enter and especially the postal code).
The risks will be your responsibility from the date on which the ordered products have left our premises. However, in the event of a lost package, we will do everything necessary so that you still receive your product or that you are reimbursed according to your warranty.
Article 7: Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.

Due to difficulties in the founder's life, he needed to halt operations for a period of nearly 1.5 years. Now, he's at a position he can try to leverage his extensive relations with the country and farms to help provide a thriving, efficient and scalable way to supply organic food to Cuenca, including its expat community.
